Overview

Every steel story has its foundation, and for Eastern Metal Works it was a day in 1978 when Ray Weiner Sr. bolted a Miller Big 40 welder to the bed of a Ford pickup and set out to earn a name for himself through hard work, honesty and a passion for steel. Six years later, with two welders, a saw, and a Bridgeport milling machine, EMW was officially born. As one of a select few steel companies in the state of Connecticut to have earned an AISC Standard for Steel Building Structures Certification,
